Test mode. No real IDs. No paid rank.

v1 is a reading of public docs and pricing pages, plus a place for captures that do not exist yet. The rules below are the ones a later capture has to obey.

What a page is

A vendor page has two kinds of sentences. Documented sentences come from the vendor’s own site, docs, or pricing page, and they name the source. Measured sentences come from a flow we walked in test mode. Every measured sentence on the site today says “Pending first capture.” A pending cell is not a zero, a tie, or a failure.

What we will capture

The happy path of a declared default: the stock modal or hosted UI, with the methods a new developer gets if they do not customize the catalog down to one button. Desktop, and a 390-pixel-wide phone. For wallets, the clock starts at the first click in the host app and stops when an address is on screen. For Didit, it stops when the test session shows a result. We will count steps, fields the user has to touch, and context switches such as an email app or an OAuth popup.

What we will not do

  • No real government IDs, selfies of a real person, or live cards.
  • No production accounts created in a reader’s name.
  • No vendor API keys in this repository.
  • No illustrated mock that could be mistaken for a product screenshot.
  • No “best wallet” badge, and no sort order that a sponsor can buy.

Order

Wallet vendors follow the launch list: Privy, Dynamic, MetaMask Embedded, thirdweb, Crossmint. That is the order of the brief, not a score. Comparisons are the six pairs named for launch. Didit is alone on the KYC shelf because other identity vendors are still in terms review. See the KYC page for the names we are not pretending to cover.

Sponsors

A sponsor cannot buy a better metric, a higher position, or the deletion of a caveat. The sponsor page has empty rates and no ad script. Comparison tables are not a placement.

When the docs disagree

If two public pages from the same vendor publish different prices, both stay on the page. Dynamic’s overage is the current example. We do not average them. Pricing snapshots carry the date they were read. They go stale, and the changelog is where a refresh is recorded.

Corrections

Send them through the form, with a URL. Do not include document numbers, selfies, or seed phrases. The form does not email anyone.
